Well, it’s a Chinese 6-series made by TCL. A 4k TV.
I tell ya, Sony’s x900f almost got my money but with half the price and about 90+% of the picture/performance, I’m good.
If I put o n my tin foil hat, I can imagine the Roku deal inside the TV and the low price is not only a great deal for any American, but a great state subsidized way to get Chinese monitoring tech into American homes.
But without that hat I just feel like I have a real nice product.

I wanted to take home a Vizio M-series in my M-series, but I got a Samsung 7 series instead.
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

Congratulations on the acquisition. I bought one of those a few months back at Costco , but then Micro Center had a special offer on a similar LG and I decided to jump on that instead. A 49" 4K smart TV for $249? I couldn’t resist, although I have yet to see anything in 4K to the best of my knowledge. I’ll probably replace the media center pc this evening with something that is capable of 4K, so we’ll see what becomes of that.
For years I was just getting free CRT TVs, all the way up to a seriously heavy 36" set. Then I inherited my grandma’s 26" 720p TV and thought that was the greatest thing ever. Next was a 42" 1080p monitor that had some occasional glitches on screen requiring a quick reboot
; I didn’t complain all that much since I only paid $20 for it. The last new TV I bought? In 2000, when I started a company, I splurged and spent $700 on a nice higher-end
Panasonic 27" with S-Video connection -
ooh, fancy...

Did you get a 7 series to put it in?
